Most people have heard of the placebo effect, but why does it happen ?
In most cases, simply believing that you will get better from a sickness actually does help you get better.
My explanation is that we do actually sub-conciously control our so called 'automatic functions' like the immune system in this case. When you think you'll get better, you make your immune system work harder to rid the sickness. To what extent i do not know of, but im sure it would work for other systems in your body.
One thing is for sure is that we do control our bodies more than we think we do. A large percentage of the brain seems to be unused for most of the time. Perhaps this part of the brain is used for controlling the normally automatic processes in the body ? Who knows. It may be discovered one day to be completely different.
To sum this up, The placebo effect can be extended to my theory that
'We can sub-conciously control our own normally automatic functions' but should not have a very large effect without the obvious actions that can be done to improve bodily functions.
E.g balanced diet = better immune system and other things
E.g Some sort of exercise = higher muscle development
So basically, positive thinking towards health actually does help the body in some way, but towards other things , it would be an entirely different matter.

The Meaning Of Life
The meaning of life has been questioned by many people.
And I have an answer to it.
Note: If you dont believe in the Theory of Evolution, then your either retarded or ignorant. (Theres just so much damn evidence that just works with everything)
Lets Take a look at Nature first of all.
Life first appeared about 3.4 billion years ago.
It has evolved and survived to this very day.
Well, most of the life anyway.
The Meaning of Life is to survive, and pass our genes to the next generation.
This makes sense considering all the trouble nature goes to to make sure that it still exists.
Why else would there be natural selection ?
The Weakest Die first.
The Strong/surviving pass their genes to the next generation.
This produces generations that get stronger and more survivable by the generation.
So nature gets more adaptable to suit the Earths changing environment.
This meaning of life is most evident what observing animals.
The Gift of intelligence messes with the system and allows the weak to survive.
Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind - for the good of the human race.
EDITING IN PROGESS . . . . (I have found an importance for intelligence)

Balances
LOOK AT GOOGLE
Now back on Topic.
Balances between things seem to make it more fair.
Balances of opposing things such as light and darkness seem to also make sense.
Upsetting a balance will only lead to destruction .... or mass boredom...
An example is the balance between the rate of births to deaths - currently there are more births than deaths.
And what is one of the biggest problems facing the world today ?
OVERPOPULATION.
If there werent so many people being born in harsh conditions in africa, there wouldnt be those ' starving children'.
Just Existing for a short amount of time before starving to death and dying ?
Their better off not existing - im sure they'll agree... unless we did offer some help.
But we cant help everyone.
Now back to the subject.
OVERPOPULATION
There are simply too many people.
The Earth cant handle it.
Nature cant handle it.
And if the problem isnt fixed soon the human race will die out.
There are too many people living, so the death rate would be increased.
Nature helps keep things in balance.
But the human race as a whole, it destroying it to selfishly preserve their own lives.
Luckily the Earth can compensate.
More people everywhere = more people affected by natural disasters = more dead.
However , the human race prevails .
So what does the earth do ?
It just so happens that the cycle of global warming is back.
WHICH MEAN MORE WEATHER RELATED NATURAL DISASTERS =D =D =D =D
No im not a sadist.
Its just that for anything that happens , good and bad things come from it.
Example.
Person Dying:
The good: The persons corpse can provide nutrients for new life to grow.
The Bad: A Person Dead obviously.
Note: The advent of coffins make it very difficult for the human body to decompose and feed new life..
Another Example:
A Person Being Born
The Good: New Life ... obviously
The Bad: Yet another strain on the earths resources. High chance of the person destroying nature in some way or another.
However , Killing people is natures job.
So it doesnt mean that you can kill people for the good of the human race.
I actually have went off topic.
I was meant to be typing about luck.
Damn i went way off. o_O

This May be controversial - Religion
Being somewhat in between aethiest and religious , i can look at religions at a different perspective.
The most common religions all seem to do one thing - tell people to be good.
They mainly say that if your good, you'll go to heaven or some other reward like heaven. Every religion has their own name for it.
It cannot be determined if it exists or not.
However , how many people do good deeds for the religious benefit or simply because its the right thing to do ?
I wonder.
Religions still have achieved making the human race , in general , more good.
What i dont get is if the religion's purpose if to make people do good , why did it result in religious wars in the past and still arguments between religion that happen today ?
Too bad most people dont follow their religion properly.
As for me , I dont need a religion top give me reason to do good.
Ill follow my own beliefs and see what life has to offer me.
I dont need to be bribed to do good.

The very brief Theory of Light and Darkness
First of all , I did not rip this idea off KH - KH just has some good philophies that i agree with.
Also , i wont be saying much about this theory works , because its too extensive and cant be trusted on the internet.
Its not like ill forget it anytime soon anyway =D
Lets just say that Light and Darkness or good and evil or other anologies ( i cant spell -_-) cant exist without the other.
The yin & yang symbol makes alot of sense here.
Thats all ill say here .
If others know too much about someone , they could use how the person thinks or other weaknesses against them.
And i dont want to reveal my weaknesses , it just gives others the opportunity to exploit it.
If you want to know my weaknesses , im going to have to trust you ALOT first o_O

First Idea - Other Worlds/ Entertainment
I might as well put this here, considering that ive had this idea for a while now.
The idea is :
People watch/read/play movies/novels/stories/anime/games because they are bored with their lives or dislike it.
When people watch a movie and immerse themselves into another world they temporarily forget about their real lives. It also explains why people get pissed when the real world interrupts a movie.
Alot of people generally find the entertainment the only thing to look forward to in their lives. From this i would say that the worlds seen in forms of entertainment are more interesting than the real lives.
Also the type of entertainment that a person view may also indicate what a person wants more out of life. E.g A person who watches alot of action movies will most likely want more action in their own lives.
However, would life be worth living without these forms of entertainment ? Or would people follow their wildest dreams with this world ending up completely different as we know it? However , i suppose the entertainment lets up simulating our dreams without getting hurt or much negative consequences.
Thats basically it .
If you havent realised already , i have really bad english when it comes to explaining things like this.
If i read it again in maybe a month i probably wont be able to understand it unless i still remember my original ideas -_-
On a later note, this is actually part of the concept of Escapism - which i never heard of until much later after this post was originally typed. Hooray for realising it on my own.
Surprising how much society strives to escape society o_O

First Post o_O
Note: If you find out this site exists , POST COMMENTS SO I CAN SEE WHO ACTUALLY READS IT.
And maybe you can point out anything wrong with my theories - Maybe ill fix it up.
I have never seen this blog posting thing before o_O
As indicated in the URL i forget why i was actually going to make this.
I must have had a good reason, and ill probably find out sooner or later -_-
I have noticed that many people use blogs as a kind of online diary, which means that any random person can find out your whole life without even meeting or knowing you.
I will do no such thing, nor will i post regularly.
Im going to use this to shove ideas or concepts that i get onto an easily accessable area - so i dont forget. And i cant be bothered making it private or then id have to log in to check up on my ideas.
How rigged . You can follow your own blogs o_O
Also , i can hear my downloading from my speakers. Well, the static anyway.
Btw , ignore the overuse of o_O or -_- in this and future (if any) blogs.
Err..... END POST
